Excited for the return of Star Wars, a couple friends and I wanted to get the city hyped with us. We made these poster pastes, and put them around Manhattan and Brooklyn.
By the end of the first day, we had garnered attention from multple outlets across New York, and even London. #DarksideNYC became a trending local topic on Twitter and Instagram, confusing the local band in Brookyln also named Darkside NYC.

Hung in the middle of the night, by morning, more people were sharing what the found. Even Trader Joe’s had a good laugh with this, and it became the top post on /r/NYC by midday.
